HOW IT HAPPENED

- The opening goal went the way of UCCS with just over five minutes to play in the first half. Fie Steenberg's volley towards the middle started the pressure, and the ball eventually found Luka Johnson who danced past the Skyhawk midfielders and fired a shot inside the left post as she slid to the grass. - The Skyhawks made a goalkeeping change in the second half, going to Riley Bravin. Bravin came in to save all three shots she faced in the second half, but FLC couldn't break through on the other end, with UCCS winning the afternoon contest 1-0.
