INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's soccer team slides to fifth in the third and final week of the NCAA DII Women's Soccer Regional Poll.

Dallas Baptist University out of the Lone Star Conference still maintains the top spot as they continue to battle for their tournament championship, as Colorado School of Mines remains second, as they too are still in the hunt for a tournament championship in the RMAC.

Colorado Mesa University moved up two spots to the third-place ranking, moving past UCCS and Texas Woman's University who both had first round exits in their respective conference tournaments, with Texas Woman's also sliding down one spot to number four this week. Behind UCCS is St. Mary's University in the number six and final tournament qualifying spot, the Rattlers are still battling in the Lone Star Conference tournament and will have an opportunity to climb up the ranks this weekend before Monday's selection show.

Texas A&M International Universtiy and Regis University round out the top eight currently on the outside looking in for a national tournament bid. Regis is still alive in the RMAC and has an opportunity to improve their position, but Texas A&M International has been eliminated from the Lone Star Tournament.

After UCCS' first round exit in the RMAC tournament, they now will have to wait and see how the conference tournaments play out but remain in good position in the fifth seed for the region, having the top six receiving a berth in the 2023 DII Women's Soccer Championship Tournament.

The selection show will air on NCAA.com on Monday at 4:30 p.m. (MT).
