COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's basketball garners their first RMAC Player of the Week selection of the season with forward William Becker being tabbed conference defensive player of the week.

Redshirt sophomore William Becker was dominant on the floor Saturday night as UCCS fell just short of No. 17 Regis, 77-78. The RMAC leader in blocks took to the air once again where he claimed a career high six blocks to tie for the second most blocks in a single game in program history. Becker's stellar night didn't stop there as he took to the boards to grab a game high and season high 13 rebounds while scoring 10 points for his first double-double of the season.

Becker and the Mountain Lions are back on the floor this weekend as they host Adams State University on Friday, Jan. 14 and Colorado State University of Pueblo on Saturday, Jan. 15. Both games are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. tip-off inside Gallogly Events Center.
