NEW ORLEANS, La. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs track & field teams stay within the top-10 and top-15 in the latest USTFCCCA National Ranking Index after a weekend of no competition as the women rank No. 6 (92.36 points) and the men rank No. 13 (61.25 points) in all of Division II.
Grand Valley State University's women's team (312.99 points) and men's team (208.30 points) both currently rank No. 1 in the country.
For the Mountain Lion men, nine student-athletes have posted a combined 10 provisional marks and two automatic qualifying marks in four meets this season with three marks ranking top-10 in the nation:
On the women's side, 10 Mountain Lions have registered a total of 12 provisional marks and one automatic qualifying mark with seven of the marks ranking top-10 within Division II:
The Mountain Lions will be back in competition this weekend as they head to Spearfish, S.D. to defend their crown in the three-day RMAC Indoor Track & Field Championships from Friday, Feb. 26- Sunday, Feb. 28.
