Mountain Lion Women Crack Top-5; Men Remain at No. 11 in USTFCCCA National Poll

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the fourth week of national rankings on Tuesday with the University of Colorado Colorado Springs track & field women's team working back into the top-5 at No. 4 (109.14 points) as the men's team holds their previous ranking of No. 11 (67.46 points). The Mountain Lion women have cracked the top-5 for the second time this season, tying the program's highest national ranking.
 
Grand Valley State University's women's team (351.88 points) and men's team (230.58 points) both currently rank No. 1 in the country.
 
For the Mountain Lion men, nine student-athletes have posted a combined 10 provisional marks and two automatic qualifying marks in four meets this season with four marks ranking top-10 in the nation: On the women's side, 10 Mountain Lions have registered a total of 12 provisional marks and one automatic qualifying mark with seven of the marks ranking top-10 within Division II:  
UCCS Track & Field will be off this upcoming weekend as they begin to make a strong push towards a repeat at RMAC Indoor Track & Field Championships beginning Friday, Feb. 26 in Spearfish, S.D.
