NEW ORLEANS, La. – On Thursday, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2020 USTFCCCA Track & Field Academic Awards as the University of Colorado Colorado Springs track & field programs earned 20 individual awards with the men's and women's teams earning all-academic team awards.
In order to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award, The cumulative GPA (not 2018-19 academic year, not semester) for all student-athletes on the institution's NCAA
Squad List for Indoor and/or Outdoor Track and Field must be 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Individual award, student-athletes must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and have reached a provisional or automatic qualifying standard for the NCAA Championships in either the indoor or outdoor season.
The Mountain Lion men's team achieved a team GPA of 3.19 as they tallied 11 USTFCCCA All-Academic Individual Awards:

For the women's side, the UCCS women's team registered a team GPA of 3.25 as nine Mountain Lion student-athletes made the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team:

Dejah Glover: Health Care Science

The Mountain Lions totaled the second most USTFCCCA All-Academic Awards in Division II (11) on the men's side while UCCS was one of seven different programs with nine or more All-Academic Athletes on the women's side.
