NEW ORLEANS, La. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs track & field teams find spots in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Week Four poll after competing in the Texas Tech Shootout in Lubbock, Texas. The Mountain Lion women remain within the top-25 as they rank 14^th in the nation with 55.30 points, while the men's team ranks 32^nd in DII with 27.48 points.

On the women's side, Grand Valley State University tops the rankings with 239.77 points while Tiffin University ranks as the top men's team in DII with 140.07 points.

For the Mountain Lion men, 10 student-athletes have combined for 12 provisional marks so far this season with two of those marks ranking top-10 in the nation:

• Will Ross (Long Jump) – 9^th 7.42m
• Dakota Abbott (Triple Jump) – 4^th 15.30m

The UCCS women have six Mountain Lions who have registered nine provisional marks with four of the marks ranking top-10 within Division II:

• Hannah Meek (Long Jump) – 3^rd 6.08m
• Kaija Crowe (Long Jump) – 10^th 5.80m
• Hannah Meek (Triple Jump) – 4^th 12.26m
• DMR (Maia Austin, Dejah Glover, Layla Almasri, Kayla Wooten) – 6^th 11:39.28
   

UCCS' upcoming meet comes next weekend as the Mountain Lions prepare to host the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Indoor Track Field Championships on Friday, Feb. 28 and Saturday, Feb. 29 inside Mountain Lion Fieldhouse.
