INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's soccer team makes their second straight NCAA Tournament appearance as they draw the No. 3 seed in the South Central region of the NCAA Tournament. As the No. 3 seed, the Mountain Lions will travel to host site West Texas A&M University to play against No. 6 seed Angelo State University at 1:00 p.m. (MST) on Friday, Nov. 9 in Canyon, Texas.
Angelo State hold a 12-6-2 record and entered the Lone Star Conference (LSC) Tournament as the No. 2 seed where the Rams came out on top as the 2018 LSC Tournament Champions.
The Mountain Lions finished as the runners-up in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Tournament, and currently hold a 15-3-2 record.
If UCCS defeats Angelo State on Friday, they will move on to face No. 2 seed West Texas A&M on Sunday, Nov. 11 for a 1:00 p.m. (MST) match.
