NIPTON, Calif. – Alex Darwin recorded a 6-over 78 and tied for third in the overall standings as the University of Colorado Colorado Springs finished No. 10 in the first round of the Las Vegas Desert Classic at Primm Valley Golf Club. Darwin is three strokes off of the lead in the first round of the spring season for the Mountain Lions.
