SEASIDE, Calif. –
Alex Darwin and
Timbrelee McNair both turned in a pair of 85s as the University of Colorado Colorado Springs finished No. 17 at the Otter Invitational today at the Bayonet Course. The Mountain Lions improved their team score by three strokes with a 64-over 352 and turned in a two-round score of 707.
McNair matched her performance from yesterday's round and tied for No. 68 in the tournament field with a 26-over 170. Darwin improved by two strokes from yesterday with her 13-over performance today and tied for No. 75 with a 28-over tournament score.
Raquell Castillo turned in the third team score for the Mountain Lions with her 15-over 87 and improved her score by four strokes from Monday.
Forre Zook and
Amanda Crites each tied for the final UCCS team score with a 95 today.
The Mountain Lions will continue the spring season April 3-4 at the Lady Buff Spring Invitational, hosted by West Texas A&M at the Lodge at Ventana Canyon in Tucson, Ariz.
