COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. –
Corey Brown and Mitch Klomp finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in the 5,000-meter run as the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's track and field team competed in three different meets today.Brown and Klomp both ran personal bests at the Alex Francis Classic at Fort Hays State. Brown ran 15 minutes, 26.10 seconds, while Klomp cut more than nine seconds off his previous best with 15:28.42 tonight.

Forrest Hough finished second, third and fourth, respectively, in the first heat and No. 15 through No. 17 in the overall results.
At the Texas State Bobcat Invitational,
Matt Winfrey ran 4:01.61 in the 1,500-meter run for a time that unofficially ranks sixth in the RMAC this season. He finished No. 16 in a field of 38 runners.
Seth Polich placed ninth in the 5,000-meter run with 15:50.08, his fastest unadjusted time of his career.
Seth Kolosso ran his first 10,000-meter run of his outdoor track and field career and ran 34:56.20 for an altitude-adjusted time of 33:35.09 to open the Kit Mayer Memorial Open at Colorado School of Mines. The Mountain Lions will finish out the weekend at Colorado Mines on Saturday.
