COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Luke Dakin started his senior season with a second-place finish among collegiate runners in the Seventh Annual Rust Buster this morning at Monument Valley Park. He led a pack of seven Mountain Lions who finished in the top nine among collegiate finishers and a team that claimed the team title.

Dakin finished in 19 minutes and 19 seconds and more than 20 second ahead of the next closest college runner. His time ranks as the 30th fastest time in Rust Buster history and was two seconds faster than the winning time last season.
