GOLDEN, Colo. - University of Colorado Colorado Springs sophomore Hayley Gantt led a first and second finish for the Mountain Lions in the 200-meter dash and ran the third leg on the runner-up 4x400-meter relay team to lead UCCS at the Colorado School of Mines Alumni Meet today. Tacey Divittorio finished second and four-hundredths of a second behind Gantt in her first collegiate competition at Steinhauer Fieldhouse.

Gantt won her heat by nearly two-tenths of a second in 27.06 seconds in a time that will adjust down to 26.45 seconds due to track size and altitude. Divittorio won her heat in 27.10 seconds and is sixth in the conference performance lists with an adjusted time of 26.49 seconds. Gantt was also the top finisher for the Mountain Lions in the 60-meter dash with 8.02 seconds and tied for No. 13 overall, three spots ahead of Divittorio with 8.09 seconds.

Chelsea Martus and Amber McAfee finished second and third, respectively, in the 800-meter run. Martus cut more than five seconds off her best indoor time from last season with 2:23.05 while McAfee came in at 2:26.58. Jessica Todd recorded her best indoor time in the 400-meter dash with 1:00.53 in a third-place finish.

Todd, Gantt and Martus joined with Hayley Gillen for a runner-up finish in the 4x400-meter relay in 4:08.49. The time adjusts down to 4:03.93, which ranks second in the RMAC behind Chadron State's time of 3:59.99 at Black Hills State last weekend.

The Mountain Lions will be off for the holiday break before returning back to Colorado Mines for the Twilight Open Jan. 23-24.
