Box Score COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - University of Colorado Colorado Springs junior defender collected the rebound off of his own corner kick and put the shot into the top left corner of the goal to lead UCCS to a 1-0 overtime victory against Colorado Mines tonight at Mountain Lion Stadium. It was the third straight win for the Mountain Lions (7-7-1 / 6-5 RMAC) and the fifth win in the last six games.

Cort Searls in the second 45 minutes of action, but both teams used strong defenses to hold each other with no shots in the final nine minutes of regulation.
UCCS controlled the tempo in overtime and set up two corner kicks for Chapman in the period. On his second corner kick from the right side of the goal, the ball bounced back to Chapman, who moved back towards the center field to line up his shot against the Orediggers. The shot found the upper left corner of the net in his second collegiate goal and first since 2012.
The victory moved UCCS into a three-way tie for fourth in the RMAC standings with three regular season games left. It was the fourth-straight home win since Sept. 21 and the first win against Colorado Mines since 2012.The Mountain Lions will go for their fourth straight overall win on Friday in a 7 p.m., game with Regis University. The Rangers (11-2 / 8-2 RMAC) won the first meeting between the two teams 3-2 in Denver on Oct. 3.
