COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The No. 18 University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's soccer team (13-2-1 / 9-2-1 RMAC) will have the third of four road games to close out the regular season when they travel to Golden, Colo., to take on Colorado Mines (12-4 / 9-3 RMAC) at 3:30 p.m. at Colorado Mines Soccer Stadium.

The Mountain Lions stand nationally ranked for the first time since Sept. 18 in the most recent National Soccer Coaches Association of America National Poll. UCCS remained fourth in the NCAA regional rankings released on Wednesday.

UCCS is coming off a 2-1 win over Colorado Christian and a 1-0 win over New Mexico Highlands in overtime last weekend and are unbeaten in their last seven games. UCCS is tied for first with Regis in the RMAC standings and can clinch a first round bye in the tournament with a win today.

Colorado Mines stands seventh in the NCAA regional rankings and are receiving votes in the latest national poll. The Orediggers faced the same teams as the Mountain Lions last week and finished with a 3-2 win at New Mexico Highlands and 2-0 victory at Colorado Christian. Colorado Mines stands in third in the RMAC behind UCCS and Regis by one point.

The Oregdiggers are led on offense by Anna Evans, whose 12 goals lead the RMAC. Colorado Mines also has the RMAC leader in assists in Megan Woodworth who has 10. Colorado Mines holds the No.11 ranked scoring offense in Division II. The Ordiggers are led on defense by Jayln Yates who stands at second in the RMAC in goals against and in goals-against-average.

The Mountain Lions offense is led by Agnes Arnadottir and Hannah Levett, who have each scored eight goals each. Arnadottir is also leading the team and third in the RMAC with seven assists.

The UCCS defense is led by two-time RMAC Defensive Player of the Week goalkeeper Kelly Schroeder. Schroeder leads the RMAC in save percentage, is second in saves and third in goals-against-average.

The six teams for the RMAC tournament have been set, and all teams are within an eight-point margin going into this weekend. First-place Regis is on the road at Adams State, fourth-place Fort Lewis hosts Colorado Christian, fourth-place Metro State hosts New Mexico Highlands and sixth-place Colorado Mesa travels to Colorado State-Pueblo today. If UCCS and Regis win today, the two teams will guarantee the first round bye and will maintain their chances to win the conference regular season title.

The Mountain also have student-athletes in reach of season records. Arnadottir needs a point to tie Julia Saenz's 2010 record for points in a season. Levett is one point behind Arnadottir on the list.  

UCCS also has student-athletes in reach of program career records as well. Arnadottir stands second on the career goals list and needs four goals to tie Kristin Preble for first. Arnadottir also needs nine points to tie Preble for second on the career points list. Arnadottir needs one assist to tie Hannah and Preble for third on the career assists list. Levett needs one assist to move into a tie for second on the career assists list.

Schroeder stands at 14 shutouts and eighth on the RMAC career shutouts list. She needs two to tie Colorado State-Pueblo's former goalkeeper Chrissy Mandarich for seventh on the RMAC career shutouts list.
