COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – For the second consecutive season,
Jennavieve Goldsworth of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs softball team has been selected to the RMAC Softball All-Tournament Team.
In a pair of tournament games last week, Goldsworth posted a .750 batting average, going 6-for-8 with a triple and three runs scored while leading the Mountain Lions to the RMAC semifinal round. The junior utility player opened the tournament with a 3-for-4 performance in a 6-5 win over No. 4 seed Colorado Mesa University as she scored a pair of runs, including the eventual game-winning run in the sixth inning. In the Mountain Lions' 6-3 semifinal defeat against No. 1 seed and No. 6 nationally ranked Colorado Christian University, Goldsworth notched another 3-for-4 performance, including a triple and a run scored in the fifth inning that made it a one-run ballgame at the time.
Goldsworth was a stalwart at the top of the lineup for the Mountain Lions throughout the campaign as she led the team in nearly every major offensive category, posting a .472 batting average with 92 hits, 18 doubles, eight home runs, and 39 stolen bases. In addition to breaking the Mountain Lions' single-season record for hits, Goldsworth ended the campaign ranked second in the conference in multiple offensive categories, including batting average, on-base percentage, hits, doubles, and runs while leading the league in stolen bases.
The Mountain Lions finished the 2026 campaign with a 33-22 record, which matched their win total from last season and marked just the sixth time in program history winning 30 or more contests.
