Men’s Track and Field Ranks No. 15 in Week 5 USTFCCCA National TFRI

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's track & field team ranks No. 15 in Week 5 of the United States Track & Field & Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Outdoor Track & Field Rating Index with 107.57 TFRI points. 

Grand Valley State continues to sit at the top of the men's rankings with 442.67 TFRI points, while Pittsburg State takes second place with 368.73 TFRI points. Colorado School of Mines remains the leading RMAC representative with a No. 4 ranking and 266.06 TFRI points. Adams State and CSU Pueblo are the only other RMAC representatives, placing #12 and #19, respectively. 

Through the fifth week of the season, the Mountain Lions have recorded a total of 15 NCAA provisional qualifying marks with three of these being within the top 10 in NCAA Division II Track and Field.  * Converted for altitude

In the fifth edition of the USTFCCCA South Central Regional Rankings, Colorado School of Mines takes the lead with 266.06 TFRI points, while UCCS ranks 5th.

The Mountain Lions will compete in Franson Last Chance from May 7-9 at APU Cougar Athletic Stadium in Azusa, California.
