COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The 2026 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Women's Lacrosse Championship Tournament bracket was announced Sunday afternoon, with the University of Colorado Colorado Springs earning the No. 2 seed.
UCCS secured its spot after a thrilling 12-11 victory over Regis University on Saturday, clinching a share of the RMAC regular-season title. The win marked a historic milestone for the Mountain Lions, as it was their first-ever victory over Regis and their first conference championship in program history.
The Mountain Lions enter the postseason with a 10-5 overall record and an 8-2 mark in RMAC play. Regis also finished 8-2 in conference action (12-5 overall) and claimed the No. 1 seed via the RMAC tiebreaker procedure. The Rangers will host the tournament April 23 and April 25 at the RU Turf Fields in Denver.
As the No. 2 seed, UCCS will take on No. 3 seed Westminster University (9-5, 7-3 RMAC) in the semifinal round on Thursday at 7 p.m. In the earlier semifinal, top-seeded Regis will face No. 4 seed Colorado Mesa (6-11, 5-5 RMAC) at 4 p.m.
The Mountain Lions split their regular-season series with Westminster. The Griffins edged UCCS 12-11 in Salt Lake City on March 13, but UCCS responded with a dominant 20-9 win at home on April 12.
The winners of Thursday's semifinal matchups will advance to the RMAC Championship game on Saturday, April 25, at 4 p.m.
