NEW ORLEANS, La. – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the All-Region honors for the 2025-26 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field season on Wednesday afternoon, with 19 student-athletes from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's and women's track and field teams combining to collect a total of 20 All-South Central Region accolades.
The top five individuals in each event from each region among the organization's member institutions earned USTFCCCA All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top three relay teams.
The UCCS men's track & field team had nine student-athletes earn All-Region accolades across five different events for the 2025-26 indoor season. Senior
Michael Roberts (Weight Throw) and junior
Evan Atkin (Heptathlon) earned indoor all-region honors for the second consecutive year, while the remainder of the men's all-region recipients were first-time honorees in their respective events.

Savannah Jorgens was the lone Mountain Lion to record multiple all-region honors as she collected the accolade for the second straight year in the weight throw and for the first time in the shot put. Junior

Payton Rodgers (Triple Jump) joined Jorgens in securing all-region honors for the second time in their respective careers, while UCCS' remaining honorees earned the recognition for the first time.

The NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee announced the participants for the 2026 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships on Tuesday, March 3, and the Mountain Lions are set to have 11 student-athletes competing across seven individual entries and one relay entry at the two-day national championship meet that will take place at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Va., on March 13-14.
