COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's soccer program has three players earn All South-Central Region highlights from the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA), the organization announced Tuesday afternoon. Abby Stassi takes her place on the First Team, with Emily Aguilar being named to the Second Team for the second consecutive year and Taylynn Levi earning All-Region for the first time as a member of the Second Team.

Abby Stassi has been turning heads for the Mountain Lions on offense this season on her way to her first All-Region selection, scoring a program record 17 goals on the season the second most in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) and checking in with the fourth most in Division II. Stassi's 37 points on the season put her second most in a single season in the program's history and ties her for 7th best in Division II. The redshirt sophomore has scored the winner five times for UCCS, leading the team, and has scored three times during the postseason, the most by a Mountain Lion.

Emily Aguilar has done it all for UCCS this season, netting four goals and setting up teammates on another four. Part of perhaps the most technical midfield in the region, Aguilar combines with fellow all region selection Taylynn Levi and Casey Tadlock to create one of the most productive central midfields in Division II for both possession control and offense generation. Aguilar has tallied two game winners, with a 14-point total, just one point behind her career best.

Taylynn Levi who also shines in the Mountain Lion midfield collects her first All-Region selection as she constructs a stellar junior season. Levi scored three goals on the season but has primarily played the dealer roll for her strikers up front. The Colorado Springs native is tied for the team lead for assists with Elise Broberg at seven on the season, a total that puts her in the top 30 in Division II. Levi hardly leaves the pitch for the Mountain Lions as her 1,948 minutes is 3rd most on the roster, and 4th most in program history for a single season.

The Mountain Lions continue their campaign for a national title this weekend when they travel to Dallas, Texas for a 2 p.m. (MT) match with Dallas Baptist in the South-Central Region Final. The winner will advance, and host, the National Quarterfinal match on December 6th.
