COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – For the first time in program history, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs volleyball team is the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Regular Season Champions and will be hosting their first-ever quarterfinal match in the RMAC Tournament.
The Mountain Lions finished the regular season 24-2 overall and 13-1 in RMAC matches, earning them a share of the conference championship title with Metropolitan State University of Denver. The Roadrunners win the tiebreaker over UCCS and will be the No. 1 seed in the RMAC Tournament, with the Mountain Lions receiving the No. 2 seed.
UCCS will play host to No. 7 seed Fort Lewis College on Tuesday, November 18 at 7 p.m. inside Gallogly Events Center. The winner between UCCS and Fort Lewis will face the winner between No. 3 seed Colorado State University Pueblo and No. 6 seed Westminster University.
On the top half of the bracket, MSU Denver squares off against No. 8 seed Adams State University. The final bracket slot goes to No. 4 seed Colorado School of Mines and No. 5 seed Colorado Mesa University.
The highest remaining seed following Tuesday's quarterfinal action will host the RMAC Final Four teams November 21-22.
