CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand – The Canterbury Rams have signed
Mac Stodart of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's basketball team to a professional contract.
A New Zealand native,
Mac Stodart has been a difference maker in the paint for UCCS over his three seasons with the program. Providing both size in the lane and shooting ability from the perimeter, Stodart averaged 4.5 rebounds per game this season, while also draining 101 three-pointers during his time at UCCS. Appearing in 94 games for the Mountain Lions and starting 56 games, Stodart has shown he can be counted on both on and off the court boasting a 3.87 GPA in his work towards a Geography and Environmental Science degree which earned him a RMAC All-Academic First Team selection following the season. Stodart wraps up his collegiate career with 746 points, 296 rebounds, and 79 assists over three seasons at UCCS.
