- Assumption's defense held the Mountain Lions without a shot attempt until Kyer Frederick and Julia Patrick fired off back-to-back shots two and half minutes into the second quarter. - The Greyhounds started the second half where they left off in the first half, netting three goals in less than five minutes to extend their lead to 14-0. Patrick prevented the shutout when she drew a foul and converted on a free-position shot with 7:52 left in the third quarter. AU took their lead back to 14 goals, 15-1, after winning the draw control following Patrick's goal and scoring shortly after gaining possession. Frederick was able to find the back of the net with 85 seconds left in the third quarter for the final score of the game.
