COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs Men's Basketball team has been selected seventh in the 2023-24 RMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll garnering 122 points.
The Mavericks of Colorado Mesa was voted the team to beat after earning 186 points and eight first place votes. CMU finished tied for first place in the RMAC last season with a 19-3 record.
The RMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll is voted on by the league's 15 head coaches. Coaches are not permitted to vote for their own team.
The UCCS men's basketball team is looking to bounce back this winter after last season's campaign was derailed by a nine-game losing streak in late January, causing the team to miss the conference tournament with a final record of 15-14.
A retooled roster both on the floor and on the bench will go to work in black and gold this winter, with
Jeff Culver bringing Daven Vo, JJ Jerebko and Elijah Ross onto the staff to join himself, Alex Bunker and Josh Theis. The locker room also will be home to newcomers

UCCS men's basketball will begin their campaign on the road on November 10
th and 11
th as they will head south to square off with Cameron University in Oklahoma, and Midwestern State University in Texas.
