SALT LAKE CITY, Utah –
Hannah Mill peppered her name in the University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's lacrosse record book Saturday afternoon as the Mountain Lions cruised to a 21-7 at Westminster College. Mill and the Mountain Lions closed out the regular season today with an 11-6 overall record and 8-4 league record.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hannah Kelleher gave the Griffins their first and only lead of the game when she scored an unassisted goal at 12:11. Julia Patrick responded with three straight goals in less than a two-minute span. After a goal from Eden Freiberg, Mill found Patrick for her fourth goal of the game before Mill scored her first goal of the match with just 42 seconds left in the first quarter.
- Owning a 5-2 lead after 15 minutes of action, the home team Griffins started the second stanza netting three of the first four goals. Maddie Kelleher's score at 11:19 would be the Griffins last goal for more than 25 minutes as the Mountain Lions pounded out 13 straight goals.
- Leading by one goal, 6-5, Mill started the scoring run with her second goal of the game at 7:49 in the second quarter, followed by Natalie Church's first goal of the game and the final score of the half came from Mill for a 9-5 halftime lead.
- The third quarter was all UCCS as they punched in seven goals while the defense held the Griffins scoreless. Patrick, Church and Meghan Weiss rattled off the first three goals of the second half before Mill captured a sock trick with three straight goal to boost UCCS' lead to 10, 15-5, and force a running clock.
- Church, Napp, Mill (two) and Patrick finished off the scoring for the Mountain Lions as the Griffins were able to sneak in two goals in the final stanza.
GAME STATISTICS
- Mill set single game program records for most points (11), shots (20) and shots on goal (18). She also tied the record for most goals scored in a game with eight. Her 20 shot attempts broke her own school record that she set the last time UCCS faced Westminster on April 1, 2022 (13 shots).
- Patrick netted six goals which is the second most scored in a game, and her seven points are the third most scored in a game. She added 10 shots and a game high six ground balls.
- Church and Napp notched multiple goal games as Church finished with a hat trick and Napp tattered in two goals.
- Church and Holly Sodomka each picked up three ground balls as part of UCCS' 21 ground balls.
- McGriff earned her ninth win in goal after making seven saves.
- The Mountain Lions attempted at least 11 shots in each quarter, including 16 in the second quarter as they finished with 54 shot attempts (43 shots on goal). UCCS went 24-of-26 on clear attempts and forced the Griffins to commit more than 20 turnovers.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Today's 21 goals scored ties a season high, while the 54 shot attempts are the second most in program history.
