Dakota Abbott claiming third place in the triple jump and
Charlie Forbes running to fourth place in the 110H on Saturday.

Two Mountain Lions worked their way to top-10 finishes in the triple jump on Saturday as junior
Dakota Abbott made it to the podium with a third place finish. Abbott leaped out to a mark of 15.63m for six team points as outdoor senior
Will Ross took 10th after recording a make of 15.02m in his third attempt.
On the track, outdoor senior
Charlie Forbes sprinted ahead to work inside the top-5 in the 110m hurdles for an All-America finish. Forbes clocked a time of 14.11s for the third fastest time in school history as the Birmingham, Ala. native notched a fourth place finish for five team points.
BEYOND THE FINAL RESULTS
The Mountain Lions finish their 2021 outdoor season with two outdoor conference championships, including the first RMAC Men's Outdoor Championship in program history. At nationals, UCCS garners three All-America honors with
Hannah Meek and
Dakota Abbott earning podium finishes with a second place and third place finish, respectively.
