COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – University of Colorado Colorado Springs Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Medicine
Ashley Klug has announced the hiring of Reagan Golucke as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with UCCS Athletics.
Golucke joins the Mountain Lions as a 2021 graduate of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with her Master of Athletic Training. "I am extremely excited to be in Colorado and am looking forward to being a part of the Mountain Lion family," said Golucke.
Throughout her Master's program, Golucke held graduate positions at a variety of institutions, including Coronado High School, Lubbock Sports Rehabilitation Clinic, Lubbock Christian University, and University of Texas Southwestern Sports Medicine Clinic, where she gained experience working with athletes at the high school and collegiate levels in addition to receiving training with clinical patients.
Prior to attending TTUHSC, Golucke was a 2018 graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Kinesiology. While at TTU, Golucke worked as a member of the Athletic Training Student Internship Program, where she provided athletic training support for athletes from a variety of sports, including volleyball, baseball, softball, football, track and field, cross country, and women's basketball. She also served as the TTU Sport Club Director of Risk Management from 2015 to 2018 where she coordinated five of the university's 38 club sports, covering baseball, ultimate frisbee, wakeboard, rugby, and lacrosse.
Most recently, Golucke worked as a Stretch Therapist at StretchLab in Denver, Colo. where she utilized Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation technique during one-on-one stretches with patients in order to increase mobility and flexibility while decreasing muscle imbalances.
In her role as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at UCCS, Golucke will serve as the primary athletic trainer for the men's soccer and softball programs. She will begin her position at UCCS on Monday, October 11.
