Dakotah Kreil have been voted to the 2020 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Golf All-Academic First Team, as senior
Brianna Vetter was named to the Honor Roll.
Due to the shortened season, nominations and voting included the student-athletes career statistics.
Jennifer Hankins of MSU Denver has been tabbed the 2020 RMAC Women's Academic Golfer of the Year. Hankins banners the 33 RMAC All-Academic honorees. Hankins, along with the other First Team All-Academic team members, were voted on by the conference's sports information directors. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must carry a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters. All student-athletes who meet those requirements, but were not voted First Team, automatically qualify for Honor Roll.
A two-time qualifier for the NCAA South Central/West Regional tournament, junior
Julia Baroth is earning her second consecutive RMAC All-Academic First Team accolade. The 2018 RMAC Freshman of the Year, the 2019 RMAC Golfer of the Year, a two-time All-RMAC First Team performer and a two-time RMAC Golfer of the Week, Baroth is a Nursing major with a 3.318 GPA. The Denver, Colo. native has competed in 25 career tournaments, recording a 76.8 stroke average over 53 rounds of golf. She finished the 2017-18 NCAA regional tournament with a 236 and a 36th place finish, followed by a 35
th place finish at the 2018-19 tournament after carding a 235.
Sophomore
Dakotah Kreil (Gilbert, Ariz.) is making her first appearance on the RMAC All-Academic Team. A Marketing major with a 3.913 GPA, Kreil has competed in 14 tournaments and played 29 rounds for the Mountain Lions. She owns a 79.3 career stroke average, including the second-best stroke average for the Mountain Lions this season (79.45). A RMAC Golfer of the Week selection on Sept. 26, 2019, Kreil posted a career low round (72) and career low tournament score at the RJGA Shootout at Estrella on Sept. 23-24, finishing fourth overall with a 148.
Earning her third RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll accolade,
Brianna Vetter (Lakeville, Minn.) is an Electrical Engineer major with a 3.718 GPA. Vetter recorded a career-best round of 84 and a career low tournament score of 177 at this fall's CSUP Sam Proal Invitational on Sept. 9-10, 2019. She competed in eight tournaments for the Mountain Lions, averaging 91.47 strokes per round.
The Mountain Lions competed in five tournaments before the 2019-20 season was cut short. UCCS produced a scoring average of 324.5 per round.
