COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – University of Colorado Colorado Springs head men's basketball coach
Jeff Culver has announced the signing of Cameron Underwood to a National Letter of Intent.
"We are thrilled to have Cam join our program," said Culver. He has experience and versatility and will fit in seamlessly with us this fall."
A native of Spokane, Wash., Underwood is a 6-foot-7 forward who will be graduating from Everett College this spring. This season, he is averaging 11.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game for the Trojans, and has scored in double figures in 17 games, including a season high 20 points on two separate occasions. With games remaining on their schedule, the Trojans have already clinched the North Region Title.
Underwood graduated from Lewis & Clark High School in 2017. He averaged 11 points and eight rebounds per game, and helped the Tigers qualify for the state tournament for the first time in 20 years.
Underwood joins Jeremiah McKenzie to the 2020 UCCS men's basketball signing class.
The Mountain Lions will close out the regular season at home this Friday at 7:30 p.m. against Colorado School of Mines.
