Baroth Tabbed RMAC Women’s Golfer of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Redshirt-junior Julia Baroth (Denver, Colo.) has been named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week after leading the University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's golf team at the West Texas A&M Fall Invitational in Amarillo, Texas.
 
Baroth finished the tournament third overall after recording a score of 148 (+4) in the two-round tournament on Monday. She started the day shooting a 77 with two birdies on holes No. 1 and 2 and came back in round two to add four birdies and card a one-under par 71.  The one-day tournament was held at the Tascosa Golf Club.
 
In two tournaments this season, Baroth is averaging 74 strokes per round.  As a team, the Mountain Lions finished the tournament seventh out of 12 teams with a 651 (342, 309).
 
The Mountain Lions will play their third and final tournament of the fall season Oct. 12-13 at the Colorado State Pueblo Proal Insurance Invitational.  The two-day tournament will be played the Pueblo Country Club.
