HURRICANE, Utah – Competing in their third tournament of the fall season, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's golf team opened the Dixie State University Invitational at Sand Hollow Golf Course with a 327. The Mountain Lions are sitting in 12
th place out of 14 teams after round one.
Simon Fraser University and Holy Names University are tied for first place with a four-over par 292. Breann Horn of California State-San Marcos currently leads all individuals with a three-under par 69.

Julia Baroth is leading UCCS with a 76. Baroth hit three birdies in the opening round on holes No. 5 (par 4), No. 7 (par 5) and No. 17 (par 5).
Dakotah Kreil's 81 has her tied for 43
rd place overall.
Julia Eaton and
Brianna Vetter are tied for 60
th place after shooting an 85. Eaton also birdied on the par 5 hole No. 17.
UCCS will begin round two on Tuesday at 10:45 a.m. from hole No. 1.
