Dakotah Kreil led the University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's golf team at the Western New Mexico University RJGA Shootout at Estrella, hosted by the Mustangs in Goodyear, Ariz. at the Golf Club of Estrella. As a team, the Mountain Lions finished 13
th out of 18 teams after compiling a 639 (314, 325).
Kreil tied for fourth place overall out of 94 competitors. After hitting par on 16 holes today, she finished round two with a four-over par 76, bringing her two-day total to 148 (72, 76).
Julia Baroth chipped in a 79 in the second round to finish 28
th overall with a score of 155.
Julia Eaton recorded a 161 after adding one stroke onto Monday's round (80, 81), while
Regina Dillon tied for 83
rd place with a 175 (86, 89).
California State San Marcos led all teams after shooting a 593. CSUSM's Jaime Jacob held on to Monday's lead with a four-under par 140.
UCCS is back in action Sept. 30-Oct. 1 when they head to Hurricane, Utah for the Dixie State University Fall Invite.
