Box Score GOLDEN, Colo. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs held fifth-ranked Colorado School of Mines to one goal before a lightning delay with just less than eight minutes left in regulation, but the Orediggers (7-0-1 / 4-0 RMAC) scored two quick goals after the delay in a 3-0 decision today at the CSM Soccer Stadium.
The Mountain Lions (3-4 / 2-2 RMAC) controlled the game against one of Division II's top defensive teams with four shots in the first 16 minutes, and limited the Oredigger offense to no shots in the same span. Colorado Mines responded and scored its first goal of the game in the 33rd minute.
UCCS made a pair of substitutions in the 81st minute to put fresh student-athletes on the field before the game was suspended less than two minutes later due to lightning. It took 40 minutes for play to resume, and
Miranda Brown took a shot on goal just more than a minute after play picked back up. But Colorado Mines scored two goals within a 53-second span and took the game 3-0.

Hannah Levett each made a pair of shots to lead a balanced offensive attack for the Mountain Lions.
Grace Ramsden made five saves for UCCS to move alone into fourth in program career records.
UCCS will be on the road again on Friday in a 1:30 p.m., game at Regis in Denver. The Rangers (5-2-1 / 3-1 RMAC) defeated Colorado Mesa 2-1 on the road today.
