COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced Monday that Charlotte Fannin, a freshman attacker for the University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's lacrosse team, has been named the RMAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week.

A native of Lakeville, Minn., Fannin led the Mountain Lions with seven points last week during a home split against Northern Michigan University (W, 11-10) and McKendree University (L, 13-10).

Against the Wildcats on Wednesday, Fannin opened the scoring with a free-position goal and later assisted on three additional goals. She recorded four shots in the contest, placing two on target. On Sunday against the Bearcats, Fannin tallied the first hat trick of her collegiate career, with all but one of her shot attempts landing on goal. She also collected six ground balls in each game, finishing the week with a team-high 12.

Through three games this season, Fannin leads the Mountain Lions in goals (six), points (points), and ground balls (13). She has also recorded 12 shots, nine shots on goal, and one caused turnover.

The Mountain Lions (1-2) will continue their homestand Tuesday, March 10, hosting the No. 3 Greyhounds of the University of Indianapolis. Opening draw at Mountain Lion Stadium is scheduled for 4 p.m.

Following Tuesday's matchup, UCCS will play its first road games of the season, traveling to Salt Lake City on Friday for a 5 p.m. contest against Westminster University before facing Colorado Mesa University on Sunday at 11 a.m. in Grand Junction.
