COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced the players highlighted with weekly conference awards for week seven of the 2026 baseball season, with
Brendan Killeen of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs tabbed as Player of the Week.
Killeen enjoyed a red-hot weekend at the dish versus the Regis Rangers, hitting .600 for the series with 12 hits in 20 at bats. Killeen racked up eight extra base hits, including four home runs, three doubles and a triple. The cherry on top was his cycle in game four of the series, which his jump-started by hitting a triple and a homer in the first inning alone. Overall, Killeen slugged 1.450, with a .600 on base percentage for a 2.05 OPS, driving in 11 runs, and scoring nine runs himself.
Killeen and the Mountain Lions went 3-0-1 on the weekend with game four of the series suspended due to darkness and ruled a 16-16 tie by the conference office. The Mountain Lions hit the road this week, with a four-game series against Adams State in Alamosa beginning on Friday at 3 p.m. The Mountain Lions look to extend their unbeaten streak to 13 games, having won 11 games prior to Saturday's tie.
