AUSTIN, Texas – Anna Fauske of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's cross country and track & field programs has been selected to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Academic All-America® Third Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday morning.

The 2024-25 Academic All-America® Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom with a minimum grade-point-average of 3.5 or higher. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's track & field/cross country honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Fauske collected CSC Academic All-America Third Team honors after an exceptional senior season in which she established herself as one of the top distance runners in NCAA Division II while excelling inside the classroom. A first-time CSC Academic All-America honoree, Fauske found a new level of success in her final academic year with the Mountain Lions as she finished the campaign having secured five USTFCCCA All-America honors, four USTFCCCA All-Region accolades, and five All-RMAC First Team selections throughout the cross country, indoor track & field, and outdoor track & field seasons. In addition to the momentous success she produced in the field of competition, Fauske was equally as impressive on the academic side while finishing her undergraduate degree in nursing as she claimed RMAC All-Academic First Team honors in each of the three seasons during the 2024-25 academic year and was selected to the CSC Academic All-District First Team for the second time in her collegiate career. A native of Sherwood, Wis., Fauske finishes her four-year Mountain Lion career as a 13-time All-RMAC honoree, a seven-time USTFCCCA All-Region selection, and a 10-time All-American in addition to holding UCCS women's program records in the indoor 3,000m, 5,000m, and distance medley relay and the outdoor 5,000m and 10,000m.

The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist the College Sports Communicators with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Division II Academic All-America® program.
