HOW IT HAPPENED
  • After a relatively uneventful first half, the Mountain Lions earned a goal in the 40th minute after CCU goalkeeper Campbell Wolfgram fouled a UCCS player in the box. Miles Seminario stepped up to the penalty kick and buried the ball into the lower left corner of the net.

  • Nearly five minutes later, the Cougars tied up the match 1-1 after Tiago Gomez buried a ball into the lower left corner of the goal, just past the fingertips of Hugo Sjöberg
  • With a long throw in from Cole Wearner in CCU defensive territory, the ball was flicked on to Soulo Letsoalo for a shot towards goal. However, a stunning diving save from Wolfgram kept the match at a 1-1 draw.
