COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's soccer team draws a 1-1 result against Colorado Christian University inside Mountain Lion Stadium after Miles Seminario buries a penalty kick in the 40th minute of the match.

All-Time Series: Thursday evening's matchup against the Cougars was the 61st in UCCS program history. The Mountain Lions are now 49-6-6 in the series.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a relatively uneventful first half, the Mountain Lions earned a goal in the 40th minute after CCU goalkeeper Campbell Wolfgram fouled a UCCS player in the box. Miles Seminario stepped up to the penalty kick and buried the ball into the lower left corner of the net.
- In an attempt to score his second goal of the match, Seminario connected with a cross from Sean Belzer and headed the ball towards the goal, but missed just wide to the right in the 57th minute.
- Nearly five minutes later, the Cougars tied up the match 1-1 after Tiago Gomez buried a ball into the lower left corner of the goal, just past the fingertips of Hugo Sjöberg.
- With a long throw in from Cole Wearner in CCU defensive territory, the ball was flicked on to Soulo Letsoalo for a shot towards goal. However, a stunning diving save from Wolfgram kept the match at a 1-1 draw.
STATS FROM THE GAME
- The Mountain Lions outshot the Cougars 22 to four, and recorded nine corner kicks while keeping CCU at zero.
- Miles Seminario was UCCS' sole goal-scorer and led the team in shots, logging a total of four during the match.
- Goalkeeper Hugo Sjöberg logged the entire 90 minutes and faced four shots, recording three saves during the match.
