COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Anna Holland of the Mountain Lion women's track and field program has been named the recipient of the 2023-24 Athletic Director's Award, announced Thursday by the University of Colorado Colorado Springs Department of Athletics.   
 
"Congratulations to Anna for being named this year's Athletic Director's Award recipient!" exclaimed UCCS Executive Director of Athletics Nathan Gibson. "Anna has shown great commitment to her sport, to her teammates and to establishing a positive, competitive culture within Track and Field. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated what it means to be a Mountain Lion and worked extremely hard to become one of the top athletes in Division II Track and Field. Anna is also an outstanding student, maintaining a near perfect GPA. Anna has shown us what perseverance, resilience, commitment and positivity mean as a student athlete and I am proud to recognize her with the AD's Award."

• School Record Hammer Throw (55.01m) at the CSUP Joe Meaker Classic and Multi
• Sits second in the RMAC for Hammer Throw, 21^st best in Division II
• Competed in seven meets
• Two Hammer Throw wins (WT Joe Meaker Classic and Multi & CSUP Chuck Hearing Classic
• Finished 5^th in the Hammer Throw at the RMAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships last month (50.50m)
