COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's soccer team maintains its number four ranking for the second straight week as there was no change to the top six ranked teams in the Week Five United Soccer Coaches national poll.
Lynn University keeps its perfect record intact by adding two wins in week five to bring its record to a perfect 8-0-0. Colorado State University-Pueblo earned a dramatic rise to the number nine spot after finishing this week 2-0. Fort Lewis College drops to 14
th in the national rankings after drawing a game with Colorado Christian University on Friday. UCCS, CSU-Pueblo, and Fort Lewis are the lone RMAC representatives for the fifth straight week with no other members receiving votes.
UCCS (8-0-2) improved its winning streak to eight games by securing a victory over Colorado School of Mines before a draw to Metropolitan State University of Denver on Sunday in week five.
The Mountain Lions drop to the number three ranking in the RMAC standings as CSU Pueblo (2-0 in RMAC) now sits at first and Regis University (2-0 in RMAC) earns their way to second in week five. UCCS still owns the best overall winning percentage in the conference at .900 and is now second in total goals to CSU-Pueblo after scoring only once this past week.

Lars Walczyk to secure his first collegiate goal and a victory over Mines to open RMAC play. Goalkeeper
Soren Russell recorded his second clean sheet of the season against Mines as well and combined with
Danny Fischer to shut out MSUD on Sunday.
The Mountain Lions look to stay undefeated as they host Colorado Christian University on Thursday, Oct. 10 at Mountain Lion Stadium in Colorado Springs, Colo. With kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. The team will be wearing green t-shirts during pregame warmups to raise awareness for World Mental Health Day.
