Men’s Soccer Ranked No. 11 in Week Two of NCAA Regional Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – In the second edition of the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Regional Rankings that were released on Wednesday afternoon, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's soccer team earned a No. 11 ranking within Super Region 4.
 
The NCAA ranks the top 12 teams in each of the four super regions across the country, with the top ten teams qualifying for the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Tournament. The South Central region, which includes the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) and the Lone Star Conference (LSC), is combined with the West region that includes teams from the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC), and the Pacific West Conference (PacWest) to make up Super Region 4.
 
Midwestern State University (16-0-1) earned the top ranking for Super Region 4 in the second installment of the regional rankings, followed by California State University Los Angeles (14-1-1) and California State Polytechnic University Pomona (11-1-4) in the second and third positions, respectively. UCCS also has three additional teams from the RMAC joining them in the regional rankings, with Colorado State University Pueblo (12-4-2) receiving a No. 7 ranking, Fort Lewis College (10-3-4) being ranked No. 9, and Colorado Mesa University (10-3-5) locking down a No. 10 ranking.
 
The NCAA will release the third and final edition of the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Regional Rankings on Wednesday, Nov. 8, before the field of 40 teams for the 2023 NCAA Men's Soccer Championship is announced on Monday, Nov. 13 with the official NCAA Selection Show being live streamed on the NCAA website at 5 p.m. (MT).
 
The Mountain Lions, who finished their regular season slate on a seven-game unbeaten streak to earn the No. 4 seed in the RMAC Tournament, are now set to host No. 5 seeded Westminster University in the RMAC Quarterfinal round, which will kickoff tomorrow evening at 6 p.m. from Mountain Lion Stadium.
 
For the quarterfinal matchup, all fans attending Mountain Lion Stadium will be charged admission and are encouraged to purchase tickets online by Thursday at 4 p.m. Online ticket sales will not be available at the ticket gate. Fans who did not purchase tickets online in advance can purchase tickets at the gate with cash only. Students from Westminster and/or UCCS will be granted free admission to the match by presenting a valid student ID at the ticket gate.

Students (With ID) – Free
 
Fans that are unable to attend in-person will be able to purchase day passes on the RMAC Network for each day of tournament play, priced at $9.95 per day. To purchase the day pass, fans will navigate to www.rmacnetwork.com and will be directed to select the institution that they are supporting through their viewership. Once the payment submission is complete, fans will have access to any RMAC championship contest available for that specific sport. Day passes will expire within 24 hours of the purchase.
