Angela Naughton score three of her five goals in the second half to lead the University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's lacrosse team to a home win over Fort Lewis College Friday afternoon, 18-15, at Mountain Lion Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Audrey Napp scored the first goal of the game just 35 seconds into the action, but the Skyhawks answered with five straight goals to take a 5-1 lead 12 minutes into the game.
- Trailing 7-3 in the first half, UCCS closed the half outscoring FLC, 4-1, with goals from Chloe Harding, Audrey Napp, Naugton and Mallory Corrigan.
- UCCS trailed by one goal at halftime, 8-7, but quickly found themselves down by four goals as the Skyhawks scored four of the first five goals to open the second half.
- Naughton started a scoring spree for the Mountain Lions in the 43rd minute as UCCS netted seven straight goals. Naughton's goal with 17:42 left in regulation cut into FLC's lead, 13-10. She added two more goals during the scoring spree and was joined by Lowe's two goals while Holly Sodmoka and Aliyah Weant each added a goal.
- Naughton netted the game-tying goal (13-13) with 13:08 remaining and then scored the go-ahead goal less than a minute later from a free position shot.
- Napp connected with Lowe in the 51st minute for the eventual game-tying goal. Lowe also scored the final goal of the game with nine ticks left on the clock.
STATS FROM THE GAME
- The Mountain Lions held FLC to 13 shots in each half as UCCS finished the game with 37 shot attempts.
- Eleven of the Mountain Lions 18 goals came in the second half.
- UCCS picked up 23 ground balls to FLC's 13.
- Three Mountain Lions posted hat tricks behind Naughton's game high five goals. She also chipped in two assists while all eight of her shots landed on frame. Naughton accounted for a team high six draw controls as UCCS finished the game with 17 draws.
- Lowe registered three goals and three assists and attempted a game high 11 shots (eight shots on goal).
- Corrigan tallied five points against the Skyhawks with three goals and two assists.
- Sydney Malcolm picked up a game high four ground balls and caused two turnovers.
- Goalkeeper Kennedy Travis earned the win in goal, playing the final 47 minutes. She made four saves and allowed nine goals.
- The Skyhawks were led by Maren Clark's four goals and five shot attempts.
