HOW IT HAPPENED | GAME 1
- The Mountain Lions came out strong in the first inning taking advantage of a fielding error where Brianna Santos took first.
- Santos advanced to third on a grounder hit out by Saleen Quinonez.
- Peyton Reisman popped a sacrifice fly to center field to bring Santos in, putting up the first run of the game.
- BHSU responded in the top of the second inning with Bailey Hubbard hitting Shayla Tuschen in for their only run of the game.
- In the bottom of the second inning, Romines hit her first home run of the season, bringing in Solana Martinez. Morgan Hernandez-Belew hit a single to left field putting her on first base and Santos tallied an RBI at the end of the inning bringing Hernandez-Belew in finishing the inning with three more runs.
- Martinez hit her first homer of the season in the bottom of the third inning tallying another RBI brining in one other runner.

- Braelyne Crenshaw pitched a complete game, allowing one earned run on four hits.
- Martinez and Romines both tallied two RBIs for the game, with Martinez going 2-for-3 at bat and adding two runs to the board.
- Five Mountain Lions put up runs in the game.

HOW IT HAPPENED | GAME 2
- The Yellow Jackets got the first runs of the game in the second inning with Crystal Amaral hitting a home run to center field, bringing in an additional run.
- The Mountain Lions responded in the bottom of the second with their own home run hit by Jaquie Ley brining in Solana Martinez.
- In the top of the fourth BHSU's Hailey Franklin hit a double to left field bringing in a run to make the score 3-2 in favor of the Yellow Jackets.
- Saleen Quinonez blasted a line drive to left field brining in two runs and achieving a double herself.
- At the bottom of the fifth inning Brianna Santos hit a grand slam, her second of the season, brining the score to 9-3, UCCS.
- UCCS ended game two with Taylor Humphries hitting an RBI to bring in Bryn Horton for a final score of 10-3.
STATS FROM GAME TWO
- Perez went 3-for-3 in the box and getting two runs.
- Martinez had three hits with four at bats, with two runs, and two assists.
- Quinonez had two hits, two RBIs, and one run.
- At five at-bats, Santos led the team with four RBIs, while still tallying two hits and two runs.
- Lexi Rayburn earned her first win in the circle, pitching the first four innings and allowing three earned runs on six hits.
