KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Three University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's basketball student-athletes have been named to the 2019-20 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court, announced today by the organization.

Padiet Wang are three of more than 1,350 men's collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season.
To be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior academically and a varsity player; earn a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2019-20 academic year; must have matriculated at least one year at their current institution; and the institution must be a member of a NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA Division I or II institution with a NABC member coach.
Ed Bourke (Melbourne, Australia) started all 28 games in his senior campaign. A graduate with a History degree, Bourke owned a 3.20 grade point average for the Mountain Lions. In 2019-20, he averaged 5.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and blocked 26 shots. In his four years at UCCS, Bourke ranks second all time in blocked shots (67). His 26 blocks this past season are the most by any senior in the history of the program.
Redshirt junior
Geoff Kelly (Aurora, Colo.) saw action in 24 games in 2019-20 and tallied 22 starts. He averaged 6.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and stole the ball 16 times. A three-time RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll selection, Kelly has seen action in 70 career games for the Mountain Lions, averaging 4.9 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. He is shooting the ball at a 40.7 percent rate (110-of-270) and hitting 48-of-156 from three-point range (30.8 percent).
A 2020 UCCS graduate with a 3.586 grade point average with a Business degree,
Padiet Wang (Aurora, Colo.) was named 2019-20 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year, and selected to the All-RMAC Second Team and the RMAC All-Academic First Team. A seven-time RMAC Player of the Week selection, Wang was named to the 2017-18 RMAC Honorable Mention and RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll lists.
This past season as a senior, Wang averaged 16.6 points per game while tallying 51 steals, 21 blocks and 152 rebounds. He leaves the Mountain Lions program ranked No.1 in the career record book for most steals (154), while ranking third overall in points (1,232), assists (301) and blocks (59), and fourth in total rebounds (516). In June, Wang signed a professional contract to play with the Bayer Giants in Germany.
The Mountain Lions finished the 2019-20 with a 17-11 overall record and tied for the fifth best mark in the RMAC with a 13-9 record.
