COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – This weekend's Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference softball season opener between the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and Colorado School of Mines will now be played Friday and Saturday on the UCCS campus at Mountain Lion Field.  The series was originally scheduled to be played Saturday and Sunday in Golden, Colo., but unplayable field conditions and a winter storm arriving on Sunday has changed the dates and location of the games.
 
The four-game series will feature a doubleheader each day with the first pitch going out at 11 a.m.
 
UCCS (4-7) will play the series as the visiting team while Colorado School of Mines (3-6) will serve as the home team.
 
Admission to all four softball games this weekend is free.
