COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs basketball programs were set to open the 2020-21 season at home this weekend, Dec. 4-5, but the Mountain Lions schedule has shifted due to COVID restrictions.
Both programs were slated to open the season against Colorado State University Pueblo on Dec. 4, and against Adams State University on Dec. 5. The Mountain Lions men's team will open their season on Saturday, Dec. 5 against the Grizzlies as originally scheduled, while the women's game will be played on Monday, Dec. 14 at 5:30 p.m.
The Mountain Lions games against the ThunderWolves have been moved to Thursday, Dec. 10 at 5:30/7:30 p.m.
Due to local, county and state guidelines, no fans will be admitted into Gallogly Events Center for home games through the end of the year.
