COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Five University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's basketball players scored in double digits Saturday as the Mountain Lions rolled past Cameron University, 90-62, for their second straight home win to start the season.
After a slow shooting start in the first half (13-of-36), UCCS warmed up in the second half to sink 20-of-30 attempts, including 8-of-10 from three-point range. The Mountain Lions (2-0) finished the game against the Aggies shooting 50 percent from the floor (33-of-66) and 47.8 percent from three-point range (11-of-23).

DaRaun Clark led the Mountain Lions with 17 points apiece. Wang hit 7-of-15 from the floor while pulling down five rebounds and dishing out four dimes. Twelve of Clark's 17 points came from long distance while the other five points came from the free throw line (5-of-6).
Blend Avdili registered 12 points and six rebounds in 25 minutes of action.
William Becker came off the bench to net 11 points and grab nine rebounds.
Geoff Kelly was near perfect from the floor, sinking 3-of-4 field goals, 2-of-3 from long range, and both free throw attempts.
Johnnie Jones III came off the bench to lead the defensive effort with 11 rebounds (eight defensive), two blocks and seven points.
The Mountain Lions bench was solid, outscoring the Aggies bench by 26 points, 43-17. UCCS outrebounded CU, 48-34, and dominated the paint where they scored 42 of their 90 points.
UCCS remains at home Nov. 15-16 when they take on University of Nebraska-Kearney and Fort Hays State University. Both games will tip-off at 3 p.m. from Gallogly Events Center.
