PUEBLO, Colo. – Down two goals with 25 minutes left in regulation, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's soccer team stormed back to defeat Colorado State University-Pueblo Friday night, 3-2, in Pueblo, Colo. The win earned the Mountain Lions two points toward the Steel & Silver Series and their first win of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference season (2-5-1, 1-4-0 RMAC).
The Pack's Carlso Espinoza found the back of the net in the 15
th minute as both teams tallied 12 shots in the first half.
Carrying a 1-0 lead into halftime, Espinoza struck again at 54:36, this time from a penalty kick.
Jack Mills put the Mountain Lions on the scoreboard in the 65
th minute as UCCS started to mount their comeback.

Tankred Steinbach at 79:23 for the equalizer and Steinbach's first goal of the season.
With just under 10 minutes to play in regulation,
Alex VonHolle connected with
Nic Grotle for the game-winning goal and Grotle's first career goal for UCCS.
Seven of the Mountain Lions 12 shots came in the second half. CSUP accounted for 11 corner kicks to the Mountain Lions four, but the backline held the ThunderWolves in check with only three shots on goal.
Scott Jensen played all 90 minutes between the posts, making one save.
UCCS will head to Alamosa, Colo. on Sunday for a 1 p.m. match.
