ST. GEORGE, UTAH – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs softball team split a pair of games on the second day of the Dixie State Easton Classic on Friday. The Mountain Lions held of MSU Billings, 12-9, in the first game before falling to Concordia Irvine, 15-0.
UCCS picked up the win against the Yellowjackets with
Taylor Reidhead lead the way with a pair of home runs. The designated hitter finished with five RBIs off two hits for the Mountain Lions.
Both
Whitney Weber and
Rayle Glover, along with Reidhead, had three runs each.
Pitcher Cami Duffy earned the win for UCCS, who are now 3-3 with one more game tomorrow as they wrap up the tournament against Dominican (Calif.) at 3 p.m.
