COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's basketball team earned a 65-54 win over Black Hills State on Saturday in RMAC action.
UCCS was led by freshman
Abby Feickert, who scored a game-high 13 points after hitting three shots from beyond the arc in addition to making all four of her free-throw attempts.
Both
Shanah Leaf and
Maddie Golla chipped in 12 points as the team shot 41.8 percent from the field and 41.2 percent from long range.
The Mountain Lions improved to 8-14 overall and are back to one game under .500 in conference play at 8-9.
The team is off until Friday when they travel to take on Regis in Denver. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m.
