SAINT LEO, Fla. – Playing their final game of their Florida road trip, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's lacrosse team fell to Saint Leo on Sunday, 17-3.
The Mountain Lions were pressured through out the game as they were outshot 32 to 11 by the Lions.
Vanessa Nelson led UCCS with two goals off of just four shots as
Melissa Reeves added one goal off of two shots.
The Mountain Lions return to Colorado with a 2-1 record as they travel to take Adams State next Sunday, Feb. 25 at 3 p.m. in a non-conference game.
